Ian and Irene both plug their guitars into a 1989 Sanyo Ghetto Blaster. We don't use any effects pedals, because the Ghetto Blaster provides us with all of the sound options that we would ever need. Since Ghetto Blasters are known for their awesome bass response, we reversed the earphone jack so Chrysti could plug her bass in. This gives us a lot of our signature sound. The thump that comes out of those Sanyo speakers is something straight out of a Naughty by Nature video...it's pretty ill. Thankfully the Ghetto Blaster came with some drum pads on it, so we can just give those a whack in between guitar solos. That's how we get those huge drum sounds.

Well, believe it or not, that's how we get our signature "supersonicspaceradattackrock" sound. Pretty simple really. To top it all off, the Ghetto Blaster, or as we in the band call it, the "GB" fits pretty well into our van too!
